Message to Members

Our doors have now been open for ten years and we're in the mood to celebrate! Every day for the past ten years, members and customers have been breathing life into the cooperative and have contributed to creating its story. We've been wanting to hear about your memorable moments at the cooperative, and what better way to coax them out than to turn it into a contest? Between January and April, send us your favorite coop story. Great conversations, new friendships, first steps, if it happened here we want to read all about it. We'll be drawing a 200$ gift certificate on Earth Day for one lucky participant... And of course, kids can participate too! They can submit their drawings of the coop in exchange for a free glass of juice.

Recycle your Holiday Tree
Our friends at the eco-quartier NDG say RECYCLE...your natural pine tree!
There are 2 ways to recycle and transform your holiday tree into mulch:

1. On Wednesday, January 5th & 12th, 2011, residents can deposit their natural holiday trees on the curbside before 7 am. In the case of a snowstorm, pickup will be postponed until the following Wednesday.

2. Natural trees can also be dropped off anytime at the borough's écocentre, since they have a container for green waste.
