Heritage Organic Seedling Sale
Coop la Maison verte and Ferme du Zéphyr are once again pleased to offer healthy, robust, organically grown herb and vegetable seedlings that you can order at the Co-op or through the Co-op's online store.
Ferme du Zéphyr grows a wide variety of certified organic, open-pollinated and heirloom seedlings that will produce colourful and flavourful tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, cucumbers, greens, salads, and herbs in your backyard or on your balcony.
Browse our online photo gallery and choose from our wide variety of seedlings, including over 65 tomato varieties such as the delicious Cherokee Purple and the crazy Green Zebra, as well as our unusual Lemon Cucumber and exotic Asian Lemongrass.
Ordering can be done online or at the Co-op. Plant pickup begins May 8 and runs to June 5. Choose from three pick-up locations: Coop la Maison verte, Coop du Grand Orme or Ferme du Zéphyr.

Look Up Gallery: Solar Cookers at A Sudanese Refugee Camp in Chad: A Photo Exhibit by Linda Hanna
All through the month of May, the Co-op will be exhibiting photographs by NDG local Linda Hanna. Linda has been working with Sudanese refugees in Chad, introducing them to solar cookers as an alternative to the environmentally harmful and unhealthy practice of gathering and burning wood. Vernissage on May 19.
