The quest for happiness is a fundamental part of being human. However, our current understanding of happiness, as promoted by advertising and marketing campaigns, and as adopted by a large majority of our political & business leaders, seems to lead to a dead end of chronic dissatisfaction and ecological ruin. Professor L. Chauvin will be sharing with us his research/reflection on the confusion between pleasure and happiness. The over-consumption theory has brought us to the brink of economic disaster and on the verge of ecological catastrophe. He believes that voluntary simplicity is an essential element of any attempt to redress this imbalance. Please join us to learn more about this world-wide movement.
