Becoming a member at Coop la Maison verte is easy, just ask our over 8,000 members!

It's a great way to support an important initiative, and benefit from discounts of 10%-50% on certain products in the store.

Membership categories at Coop la Maison verte:

1. User Membership: $10 social share
This is an individual lifetime membership with an annual fee*. There are three seats on our Board of Directors for User Members.

2. Support Membership: purchase of minimum 10 social shares ($100)
This is a lifetime membership with an annual fee*. Support membership is available for those who have a special social or economic interest in the Co-op. There are three seats on our Board of Directors for Support Members.

3. Worker Membership:
Employees of the Co-op may apply for Worker Membership status after six months of employment. Worker Members must contribute to the functioning of the store in ways that go beyond regular customer service, and in return will receive a variety of benefits. There are three seats on our Board of Directors for Worker Members.

4.Family Membership
A special membership for families is available with the purchase of a minimum of 2 social shares ($20). This Family Membership is also a lifetime membership with an annual fee* that allows up to four residents of the same address to use one user or support membership number.

*At our last Annual General Meeting in October 2006, members decided to support an annual fee of up to $10. The method of implementation is still being worked out by the Board of Directors, and we will offer detailed information to all members when available.
