Chapitre 5: Assemblée des membres
(Référence: articles 63 à 79 de la loi)

5.1 Assemblée générale ou assemblée spéciale
Toute assemblée générale ou assemblée spéciale est tenue à l'endroit, à la date et à l'heure fixés par le conseil sous réserve des articles 77, 78 et 85 de la loi.

5.3 Vote
Le vote est pris à main levée à moins qu'il en soit décidé autrement par l'assemblée à la majorité des membres présents.

In order to vote members must be in good standing for a period of not less than 30 days before the meeting.

5.4 Quorum
Le quorum pour toute assemblée générale ou spéciale sera du nombre de membres du conseil d'administration fois deux plus un. (Changement adopté à l'AGA du 22 mars 2004)

6.1 Éligibilité des membres : Pour être éligible au poste d'administrateur, un membre doit avoir acquitté les versements échus sur ses parts ou tout autre montant exigible.
6. 5. 14 Les nominations pour tout siège au conseil d'administration doivent être soumises au moins 7 jours avant l'assemblée.

"Greening the Co-op" committee

At La Maison Verte we like to set an example not only with the products we sell, but also by the way we do things in the store (recycling, composting, etc.). At our last General Assembly a proposal was adopted: form a special committee with the mandate to make the store is as energy efficient and "green" as possible. Think innovative lighting, water recouperation, large-scale composting, even a wind turbine on the roof!
