Buy Nothing Day 25th of November

With Christmas looming on the horizon, we remind our customers to be responsible consumers by celebrating Buy Nothing Day each year! We cover all of our shelves, hide our products, and close our cash registers. So what do we do instead? Hold a free party for everyone and anyone, offering free coffee and cake, live entertainment, and a warm festive atmosphere.

We also celebrate the Co-op's anniversary in conjunction with Buy Nothing Day to show that, since our beginning, we've been more than just a store.

Earth Day, April 22

We celebrate Earth Day each year with a community party similar to that of Buy Nothing Day. Celebrating this day reminds us all of the deep respect for the Earth and our environment that form the roots of Coop la Maison verte.

Booking

Coop la Maison verte is available for after-hours meetings and small events of a community or environmental nature. Fees for the use of the space are on a sliding scale depending on the event and the group involved. Please email us a brief description of your event, and your organization, as well as your preferred dates. We will get back to you as soon as possible with our availability.
