John Molson Sustainable Business Conference (Feb. 13)

The Sustainable Business Conference is a unique initiative that explores the strategies businesses are using to create a more sustainable future, as well as the obstacles that are preventing more from adopting these models. This annual event brings together the school's community, other universities, and corporate leaders to discuss sustainable business practices.

In order to achieve a greater level of depth, each conference focuses its attention on one theme in particular. This year's conference, titled "Building our Future", will focus specifically on the obstacles, tactics and advantages encountered by environmentally and socially conscious businesses within the building and development industries.

The SBC is an opportunity for business students to see that sustainability and economic prosperity need not be mutually exclusive. It is a chance for them to learn beyond the scope of the classroom, through exposure to tangible examples of ingenuity, determination, and success.
