What's up at MUCS? Earth Day Open House (Wed. Aril 23)www.mucs.ca
Bring friends, spouses, relatives, ex-landlords, and come to the MUCS Earth Day Open House! On Wednesday, April 23rd at 6PM we will be celebrating Earth Day with an evening of community building, food, bike repair, and permaculture practice!
This is also a great opportunity to learn more about MUCS - you can tour the space and learn about the different MUCS initiatives: the Dining Coop, the Free School, the Zero Food Waste project, and the Integrated Design process. The MUCS Dining Coop is a dynamic community space for members to cook and eat together. Not only is the dining co-op an economical and ecological approach to cooking and dining, it is also a way to build community in NDG through social gathering and friendship building.
The evening will go like this:
Seed-Ball Making! By the Permaculture Guild: Make balls of seeds and clay that help regenerate soil ecosystems!
Tour the MUCS space! MUCS Members will be on hand to show people around the space, and explain what it is that we do.
