The pearl of the Caribbean, Haiti, has long been known worldwide for its coffee. In 2008, coffee was replaced by various subsistence crops for the sad reasons we all know. Haitian coffee is rare. Yet today, we have the chance to re-discover it. Santropol is proud to present you with Splendide, an exceptional fair trade coffee.

Cultivated with love in altitude, in the fertile soils of the region of Dondon in northern Haiti, this coffee lends itself perfectly to the artisanal roasting that has distinguished Santropol for 10 years.

We are directly linked to the coffee growers from the Vincent Ogé de Dondon
Coffee-Plantation Agricultural Co-operative (Coopacvod). Top priorities for this Co-op are the improvement of coffee drying infrastructure and obtaining of organic certification. They know that these goals can be attained while ensuring that their fundamental food and healthcare needs are also met.

Fruits of the earth and Sun, rich and strong with hints of almonds and red wine, Splendide does justice to those working to awaken the world!
