"In Town, Without My Car " September 22

The sixth edition of "In Town, Without My Car!" will take place on Monday, September 22, 2008, closing one of the largest areas in North America to traffic.

The purpose of this international event is to raise public awareness of the harmful effects of single-driver vehicles on the quality of city life and to push people to think about the behavioural changes required when it comes to urban travel. It is also an opportunity to encourage the public to discover alternative means of transportation to driving solo. Join the festivities!
