Fed up with traffic, the continuously rising price of gas,
increasing air pollution and your own inactivity? At Montreal's centres
de gestion des déplacements (CGDs), that is, transportation management
centres, we can help you.
We develop and implement viable alternatives to solo car travel,
through programs like ALLÉGO, which offers concrete solutions for
reducing solo car travel for commuters. Companies and institutions are
offered a wide range of sustainable transportation solutions to
encourage employees to find alternatives to single-driver vehicles. We
support and advise you, step by step, while you implement the program.
With options ranging from managing parking to public transit to
carpooling to cycling and even walking, we help you take to the road
ALLÉGO style!
There are many advantages to introducing sustainable transportation measures:
- For employees: less stress, more physical activity, less time spent commuting, less money spent on commuting;
- For
employers: improved company or institutional image, fewer
parking-related expenditures, improved accessibility to the worksite
and therefore fewer employees reporting late or calling in sick, and
improved employee retention;
- For the community: less
congestion and fewer accidents, less noise, fewer greenhouse gas
emissions, and overall improvement in communities' quality of life.
Our programs are eligible for grants from the Quebec Department of
Transport. For further information, feel free to contact one of our
